This morning, while driving, I heard a segment on NPR about memory, cognition, consciousness, and so on. Those are topics that interest me greatly. I was reminded on my blog about The Mysterious Flame of Queen Loana, which I have to reread. The person who had written the book that was being discussed seemed to be overly concerned with the style of expressing; although he saw the "footprint" of the structure of memory in various sorts of expression. I am still waiting for someone to decode ...

Data accumulates slowly when you have great distances to traverse. The infinitesimal processing of zeroes and ones from continuous files are decompressed and filed until a computer can review them. Human interaction is minimal, as humans err. Still the neccessity of cognitive carbon intelligence is required in the processing of data. A biological filter straining the compiled data (soup) into a reactive resource (entity)(bowl).

Space exploration will continue long after life ...

Beauty Defined

Beauty is in the minds eye
but how do we define it
with words of phrase

do we ever weigh the meaning
of these words?

Is beauty a lie,
a deception
or the only pure truth?

Beauty found upon the
tilt of butterflies wing
soft bloom of April spring flowers,

it may be perceived in
sky reaching towers
city lights on a moonless
night, ...

What is greater than God,
more evil than the devil,
the poor have it,
the rich need it,
if you eat it you will die?
