I’m done with my finals. I have my grades for two classes and they are both As, but I’m still waiting on the other two. I have had such a negative experience in my world lit 1 class. I was warned that I would not enjoy the teacher and I didn’t, but I wanted the class and I thought a C wouldn’t upset me. I don’t know what the grade will be, but it has up set me. The only person who has had anything resembling positive feedback plagiarized spark notes verbatim. Almost everyone else in the class ...

you know, i just thought about this... i joined here on litnet to share my writing and to read other writing to understand different ideas. hmmm... i think i failed on that part of the whole thing.

guess i should start catchin' up, huh? ok... here me goes.

(a warning to the wise: half this stuff i wrote i write out from no where. some of these ideas are surprisingly in my mind.)

This may be a ramble, I don't know. Some have asked how mama's doing. I'm not sure. After taking her to the emergency room and going through all that (see two blogs earlier) I thought she might be on the road to recovery. When she finished out the antibiotics she did feel better. But in a day or two she started complaining of headaches, which she's had for weeks now, and not be able to sleep, and pain in her sinuses. Ok, my cold developed into sinuitis and needed some medication, so perhaps ...

The paper is grinding slowly towards completion, much like train going uphill, it gets harder the farther along it travels.

So, given their comparable backgrounds but radically different personalities, what was it that garnered both such public attention and admiration as to warrant the label: celebrity?
