  1. January 1, 2008

Have you ever heard that how you spend the first day of the new year is how you will spend the rest of the year? I’ve always heard that. Today I heated food that I cooked last year (yesterday really), won all of the card games I played, slept LATE, and read a really great book. I still have to do some chores but all in all it hasn’t been a bad day. I’ve also heard that the first 12 days of the new year will tell the weather for the year. If so January should be very windy and bitter cold. ...

Apparently someone pressed the wrong button. Thanks a lot. Now I can relive 2008, you have no idea on the mistakes that I made first time 'round. But really in all seriousness, don't mess with time, it's very delicate and should only be done by qualified professionals.

What keeps me sane is knowing I have memories of us, the pictures captured a glimpse,
but my heart captured everything like a film recorder.

    I pray for you
I sit and ask myself why ?

why couldn't I of been there?
why wasn't I there you help you?

You are loved. You are missed.
reach down and take my hand.
take me to heaven with you.

When I think of you my eyes rain
    I dont like to think

    Happy New Year, everyone!!

    It is 1:53 A.M. January 1, 2008.
    I'm turning 17 this year.
I will likely get my drivers license.
I will more than likely get a job.
I will take my SAT test this year.
I will start my last year of homeschooling this year.

Oh my giddy aunt. I'm a big girl now. It's rather interesting to be on the threshold of adulthood, though my nickname since I was eight has been 'grandma'.

    Thursday through ...
