    Going with the flow and posting my reading list from 2007. These are the ones I can remember, there may be others but if so I've forgotten.

  3. 2007 Book List

    Taking my cue from Virgil, I thought I would list the books I read with my book club, Prose and Cons, for 2007, and the average of how the group rated them. We rate them 1 to 10, 10 being the best. We do not follow Oprah's choices but sometimes she chooses ours. LOL I rated almost everything between a 7 and 8. I have a terrible time giving a book a bad rating unless it is really REALLY bad.

  4. Who cares?

    Auni sat in her chair in the second to last row, far to the corner. Looking out the window, she had her chin resting on her fisted hand. Some red cardinals sat on the chain link fence, and she desired that she could be able to go fly away with them. Leaving all her troubles behind. Suddenly a rolled up paper was thrown at her and her mind was raced back to reality.

    “Auni, what is the capital of Andorra?” Mr. Baker asked.

    “What? Oh, Andorra la Vella. Right?”

  5. My 2007 Reads

    Here's a list of my reads (other than poetry) for the year. It's quite humble compared to some who can read an unbleivable amount. I enjoyed most of them. The Irving and the Capote were probably the duds from the list. I also did not read much history (only perused, and so I didn't list it) or any biographies at all. One should always include a history or biography in an annual read. I usually do. But alas not this year. Don Quixote did take up a bit of time. But it was well worth it. ...
