  2. Sweeney Todd / Poem

    My friend and I saw Sweeney Todd the other day. We're both fans and he downloaded the music - he loved it so much. (Okay, the guy likes musicals, hates roller coasters, and is as vain as any woman. Um, ya think there's a wardrobe in his room? )

    Well, this is my last entry before my big one year anniversary. I just wanted to describe how the moon rose over the ocean on New Year's Morning.

    The moon rose after midnight...slowly it became visible from behind a low bank of clouds. It was a crescent shape, but the top half of the moon was not visible.     Well, (man I just can't say "well" enough) I'm dieting. Its part of the whole New Year's Resolution crap. Anyways, I've put on a significant amount of weight since my multiple injuries. My weight went from 159 pounds to 200 pounds. I've been slowly losing weight, but now I'm going to give the next 3 months to a dedicated effort to control my weight.

    Credit where due: Virgil asked about Spurgeon to which I PMed a reply but felt that this man of God deserves some recognition since he has had an enormous influence on my faith and belief system.
