Frosted Death

The wind that swirls around me is cold,
freezing the very blood within my veins.
The ashes of my small fire send up faint vapors
of smoke into the night sky. It is very dark.
The faintest sliver of a moon tries vainly to illuminate the night.
Somewhere off in the distance, I just heard a faint howl.

This isn't meant as a criticism of people here. But since everyone else seems to vent in their blogs, I might as well too.

What has happened to lit net? Is this a literature forum anymore? In the past few weeks there have been chat threads on whether there are "natural" women on the forum, requests for love advice, war of the sexes, dying for your country, endless discussions on whether it's moral to keep pets, reasons why I don't have pets, whether we will ever live ...

I was bored so I decided to do a short blog about what ever comes into my head, but I can't be bothered to spellcheck. Had a fire alarm. It was freezing outside, good ting I grabbed my cardigan, just wish I'd been wearing by oots instead of my slippers, or even my longer jeans, then my ankles wouldn't have gotten so cold.
