  2. Home Study

    Last night we had our home study done. It ended up lasting 2 hours. He went over all the paperwork with me and my husband. We had to block our dog in the kitchen since she gets very excited around people and she would have been jumping all over him. She was whining the whole time. It was actually quite funny but I don't think the social worker apprecaited it that much. He just kept on talking as if she wasn't there.

    My Arkansas History class is very interesting,
    but not necessarily intellectually challenging. Last night
    I took my notes in Haiku, it was more fun that way.

    Classroom small and hot
    Pungent odors trapped inside
    Two more hours to go


    What is the difference
    In the brave man and the fool
    Each man has his pride


    Tell me of the hills

  4. Who is "L"?

    My 100th blog entry was dedicated to "L", and I thought that I'd give you some background as to how the poem came about.

    "L" is the sweet daughter of a lady I know. "L" is a spritely child, about fifteen in age, but maybe sixteen now. Anyhow, "L" is the zaniest kid I have ever met, she dresses in wild, flashy clothes that combine several styles that are often seen out there at any given shopping mall.     I hate having to dig my truck out in the morning. Stupid snow, spent 40mins this morning clearing the snow (which the plow driver ever so nicely left at the end of my driveway). Cant wait for spring.......
