    And I begin by saying, bugger bugger bugger. Why haven't I BLOGGED FOR OVER A WEEK? I'll tell you why. I got lazy. Damnit. Damn and blast!

    My Mother was the youngest in a family of nine children. The first child, a boy, died shortly after his birth. In this family there were three girls and five boys who lived to adulthood. Born just before my Mother were twin boys. They were always called “the Twins”. I didn’t realize that they had names until I was about 5 years old. I never knew one of the twins because he was killed in the Korean War but there were pictures of him and his brother in uniform on the wall in the living room. These ...

    This week has certainly taken its toll on my head, let me tell you. There has been a lot of zany and unexpected things that have happened in my 'real life' that have rendered me not too close to my computer. Ergo, I am way behind in the blogs, the poetry, and all of it. Sorry to all you bloggers, who I love to keep up-to-date on.

    But anyhow, these silly problems of mine are very pale next to what happened this morning.
