    First and foremost:) As promised, here are a couple of pictures of my house going up. I am so happy to see that things are progressing, and I can't wait to move into my new home.

    What have I been up to lately? Well, my family has been involved in getting my mother-in-law into a residence where she has her own suite and is basically on her own, but has lots of care all around her, and doesn't have to cook any meals, if that is what she choses. There are nurses there, and she has an emergency lifeline, etc.

    My mother-in-law does NOT want to be there. ...

    I said I would finish the last post but I can hardly remember what I was going to say. So I thought I would just talk about something near and dear to me.

  4. Update on Me

    Hey, everybody. I know I haven't blogged lately, so I guess I should update you.

    The day before yesterday... I hurt my ankle in PE. I took a shin to the ankle. I earned second chair cello. I got a cat call. There were these two guys walking around the second story of the middle school building, and called down to me "hey you!". Needless to say, I looked at them as though they were crazy-- they didn't even know me. Then one of them (God forbid I find out who he was) yelled

  5. Flooding

    The past three days have been pretty wet ones in the Ozarks. We received rain for three days and nights totaling only about 5 inches here. There are a lot of roads closed due to flooding and/or being washed out by the water. On Tuesday night, I had to take back roads to the back road that Motherhubbard lives on because we couldn’t cross the low water bridge on the normal route we take. The local football field and tennis courts were flooded as well as the parking lot and park. These are located ...
