I was rejected by graduate school. Of course, I can now add this to my list of rejections, including society, family members and publishing companies. Why did God bother stirring the dust in the first place? Why not just make me stupid and happy or brilliant and unhappy? Why screw me both directions? Why do I even exist at all?
Mother Hubbard is but one of many ladies I have successfully disappointed over the years. They always seem to see more in me then what there is. These be perilous times we live in at Ohio. I felt bad about not blogging and filling Anza's want to beat the record, but as I blogged just the other day I'm not sure what to say! I'll just post a couple of really neat Youtube vids. [I]Finally, I've finished it. This was a hard chapter to write for many reasons. Some of them include the fact that I'm thinking of restructuring my earlier chapters so they're not so short. Another was that I needed to resolve a conflict about the story within myself before continuing. I've a firmer grasp on where I wish to go, and I hope to find more time to write soon. 50 hours a week is not leaving me much to work with, but I'm trying for even just thirty minutes a day.
