On Wednesday (appreciate this is now old news but hey, I've been busy) I had a great day. 5 of my poems were accepted for publication on the same day, three will appear in an anthology, the proceeds of which will go to charity, and two others will appear in a British small press magazine in the autumn time. What a morning I had. Stayed up really late, doing nothing, until 5am, but got to sleep about 6am, it was almost daylight. Then at 10am we had a fire alarm which made me feel sick (it's the first time I've actually felt sick because of it) but I think its because I tried to grab a sip of water before leaving to try and wake me up a bit. Well folks, I went to the doctor today for my sickness... Yep, and guess what they told me? They don't know yet! Here's a sample of the tests I've had: -I had a foot and a half of thin tubing with a fiber-optic light shoved down my nose and into my throat. -Had to drink Barium, (a disgusting, chalky substance that is supposed to taste better flavored... I was sick to my stomach), and then get around five X-Rays of me drinking said Barium. ...
