I’ve been absent. It feels like a really long time, but I suppose it’s only been a few days. I miss this place when I’m not able to log on for a while. The cherries have kept me busy lately. It’s really amazing how much fruit one cherry tree can produce. My neighbor has two trees and I can’t imagine having more than that. We have picked and picked. I’ve been working them up by hand so that I can check for worms as I go, but it’s really easy work. It’s just time consuming. ...

We went up to my parents hometown of Zahle day before yesterday and spent the night there in a hotel that's nearly a hundred years old.
