THE FICKLE SINGS OF GODS

Even though many will say that Gods are a figment of imagination, there will be even more people that disagree. Sure, Gods may be a little strange, a little far fetched, but somehow, the concept of God has touched millions. These people are all deluded. Gods do not feature into the universe, they are not omnipresent, they are not omniscient and they certainly arn’t worth a dime for a dollar.

Yet still people are bothered with Gods, the concept ...

At heart I am a simple man easily satisfied. I have learned in collecting books, comics, etc. that patience is indeed a virtue. I have regularly discovered that it's the thrill of the hunt or long waits that make a collection interesting to me and not necessarily the completion.

Right now my e-bay pal Nikki is working a bid on King of the Royal Mounted Sunday strips from the 1950s for me. I always have competition for those and lose more often then I win.

So the plane is tomorrow. Busy, busy, busy. Last minute visiting.

I kind of feel bad about not blogging very often here. But it's just that the ever present stifling heat is kind of a put off. And then the laptop is always losing connection, or someone is using it. I've got plenty of excuses.

Things here have been going well, but my smaller dog has been having a lot of trouble adjusting to me having to work. I'm afraid that he has been terribly unhappy, and I can't bear to keep him like this any longer. We've had this issue in the past, but I've finally summoned the strength of will to do what is best for my beloved little pet no matter how it is paining me to do so. I've decided to search for a new home where he can be more content. Ash needs someone who can devote so much more ...
