This is my first day with no kids in the house. My chores are done and so now it seems really quiet. I almost like it but Max cried this morning so that takes away from the experience some. A very very real nightmare has passed. When my father died in 2001 it was almost two years before I broke down in tears. It has only taken five minutes for my mother. I got the news 20 mins ago. I had so long feared a sigh of relief and a burden lifted. Instead I feel a very very strange sorrow I never expected. I must go now I cannot type more.
