  1. rabbits, chickens, and apples

I’ve started this three times and it just keeps rambling into nothing. I got a very nice rabbit hutch for free yesterday and I’m very excited about it. My husband added on to the chicken house so that I would have a place for the rabbits and the bunny hutch fits in just right. I’m going to go get some feed tomorrow and I’ll be ready for rabbits. My bunny hutch is so nice. It’s much nicer than I had imagined being able to get. It works out so often that we are abundantly blessed with just what ...

  2. A New Pleasure

I am falling in love with the writing of the 17th century, of which I previously have not read much of. But I have recently acquired an anthology of works from The Restoration and the 18th Century, and it starts with writings from the mid to late 1600's and what I have read so far, is truly quite brilliant and most entertaining. 4. Winter's Tale part I

These two blog entries are a response to the Winter’s Tale discussion going on in the Shakespeare Discussion section of the forums (http://www.online-literature.com/for...ad.php?t=35848). It set out initially as a very short post, but I found myself becoming quite verbose. I thought that people who have either been following the thread, or have read the play before might be interested in the mini-essay I ended up with, so I decided to post it here for perusal. I've only really had a chance ...

  5. Deliver This!

by , 09-14-2008 at 02:06 AM (Ramblings from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia)
The company I work for as a Computer Tech ordered a neon sign for our blooming cell-phone business. It was delivered by a common carrier, which service I will not name. The delivery man threw the package onto a concrete porch without bothering to knock on the door. Well, the sign broke.

Our supplier, and note that this wasn’t his fault, asked for e-mail confirmation that the carrier’s insurance would cover, and he would send us a new sign, already made. Neon signs are expensive and ...
