Manners, who needs 'em?! This is a bit of a rant because I am annoyed. I belong to a couple of forums and I have noticed a disturbing trend. People come on, ask a question and demand (not ask, demand!) help with their request. Then they are either rude or never even bother to say thanks! What is up with that? I guess I can live with the not thanking part, even though it takes like, 5 seconds to type in a message like "Thanks, your tip really helped me!", ...
Well, I'm home for a couple of days, and its maybe 70 degrees warmer here than when I left northern Alaska. The temperature is hovering around the freezing point. A snowstorm is approaching with the threat of a foot of snow on the way. I've already started 'The Unbearable Lightness of Being'. It already holds insights to me, which I can appreciate. Don't get suckered into responding to those forums where people aren't going to listen. You know sometimes they are flaming ...

I still enjoy it, to a point. I like the class discussions ...
