  1. Hysterical Realist Chat

by , 12-01-2009 at 11:58 PM (A Mirror Floating in Water)
Here's my rip-off of the 'Live Chat' thread for us highly caffinated induviduals to rant on about utter and complete nonsense. I have found that far far too many threads have been hijacked by this evil monster, I myself being a victim, was forced to go on and on, one thread to another to spout my over-caffinated, late-night talking, Eggers-reading, Derrida-jargonizing, computer-crashing, over-complicated, over-emphasized, anti-minimalistic, anti-sublty, anti-Buddhist, over-acting, Nicholas Cage, ...

    Consummate Professional

    A testament to innate skill,
    A fetching beauty
    For an inordinate thrill,
    You've lost your breath

  4. Firmament

Legs planted astride I gaze up at the night sky
Upon high Orion appears to stare back at me.

Mirroring each other cosmically in time
    The macrocosm reflects the microcosm.

We view each other pensively in the still air,
The 'Hunter' & the hunted maybe, maybe not.

I, a sentient, thinking, feeling human being,
He, a random chance of interstellar parallax.

The firmament blazes, Milky Way meanders

  5. It's a snowy day today.

Well winter has finally truly sunk in, it is now snowing in Montreal. I've always loved this season best. There's something wonderful about snow.

Anyway, here's a little poem inspired by a story an ex once told me about falling in love with strangers on the bus.

    Momentary Infatuation

I saw your face on the metro
    And I whispered, “Hello”.
I wish I could know you,
Meet your mother, or declare, “I do”.
At the next stop you had ...
