Time-travelling dream. Marrying a prince.

I had a weird dream that my great-great-great-great-aunty was a pricess in England and the prince wanted to marry her, and really did love her. Instead she married an incredibly attractive Duke in France, not political or ethical pressure, she just wanted to. As imaginable, he was quite angry.

They got onto a boat, on the very day they were married, to go to live in France. On that night, the boat ran into a storm. It was reported that he left on the lifeboat, alone, and left his queen. She drowned, his body was never found.

The prince was furious, he would have laid down his life for the woman he loved, and he was angry at her foolishness. So the prince invented a time machine and came fowards in time, himself and a servant.

After meeting the servant a number of times, and him explaining the situation to me, he gave me my last, makeshift meal and informed me I should spend my last day at home, then I will be taken back in time.

I ate the meal of grains and refuse to drink the wine. The servant understood this. Despite the clear omens that the prince would take me, then probably kill me, I found this last sentiment very sweet and asked the servant to thank him and tell that I was looking foward to meeting him.

The very next morning, the servant came for her. They left in the time machine and arrived long ago. She saw the prince and he turned to her and..... Then I woke up.

It was such an interesting story. I really want to know the end. I think we are going to get married.

I don't understand.... Why did he invent a time machine and go into the future?

He wanted to find me. I'm supposed to be what is left of the one he loves.

I don't know, it is one of those mushy, sentimental things and really old ideas of getting what should be rightfully yours. I think.

Oh, now I see, you should turn this into a short story!

I was thinking of doing that. I just need to work out the ending.

It was a dream, and there was a lot more detail, so I'd have more to add in. Only thing is that all of my dreams are mute, even though I can sort of tell what people are saying.

AH! I know what you mean about the mute dreams, I have those though, although I admit sometimes there is sound there, but then it tend to manifests itself as colours.

It's up to you to fill in the blanks, take the story, let the minds of the people flow into you and the words will come, I am sure of it.

Well you never know. The dream might carry on to tonight. So I guess I'll sleep on it.

There are sounds, but they are rarely dialouge, or at least not streams of it, anyway.

Usually I can just know what is being said, somehow.

I didn't dream of the prince.

Only I know he is just some old guy with a powdered wig and an enormous castle that I couldn't navigate anyway.

In the dream, the wedding was staged at his house, it was pretty neat in its hey-day.
