Shopping

I went shopping with mum at about 1:30ish. I don't usually. But she asked and I decided it would be wise. I'm sick of her buying the same old things for my lunch. Chicken fajitas on Mondays. I used to like them but I've had them so many times they sicken me. She also buys ham. She knows I've gone off of ham. I think that's because I empathized with Tom because he always used to have ham sandwiches and he got so sick of them that he binned them the second he opened his lunchbox.
So, I accompanied her today. But, seeing as there's never really any food on Sundays (to speak of) I had a very small breakfast and was hungry by the time we got to Tesco’s. So we popped into the cafe and got some food. We sat down and started eating. There was a little girl with her father at a nearby table. I happened to glance over to her the second she spilled her drink. She wasn't too happy. Luckily, most of it ended up on the floor and only a little was on her. Ironically, because we were splitting a tuna melt, and it was very hot, some of the cheese oozed out while mum was eating her half. I went to get some napkins and ended up knocking over the napkin dispenser. I caught it before they fell out, but now I had the troubling task of trying to put it back into place with one hand mainly and trying not to get too embarrassed. After that came the shopping. That went well. Mum has realized that every time she takes me shopping we pick up more things than normal.
I like to try new things, while mum buys the same old stuff because, I admit it, I'm a fussy eater (One of the poorer qualities I got from dad).
Another thing I hate is trying to find everything when mum has just shoved any old thing into any old carrier bag. I decided to split the items into blocks, so we knew what was in each bag. Only trouble it that takes a bit longer because you have to root around for all of the dairy products then the things for my lunch (Just two examples of today’s categories). I even left a small space between each section so they were neatly defined. Just when I was nearing the end, and mum was desperately in nee of the trolley, a woman came up behind me and started getting ready to put her things on the conveyor belt. Without warning 6-7 were taking up valuable space at the end of the conveyor belt. She couldn't even wait until I was finished. It wasn't like she had much. She could have waited patiently, like a decent person. 6-7 bottles of wine, a pineapple, a large pack of Andrex and about 3-4 smaller items. Because she'd been too impatient I had no where to put the rest of the things and I was getting rather flustered, aware that I was holding someone up now (No matter how impatient she was) so i had no option but to throw the rest of the stuff onto any available space, which confused mum as to where everything is and is why doughnuts ended up in the sweet bag instead to the cake bag and why it was so hard to find the two bottles of shampoo later on (One for me ant another one for her). I was very annoyed with the impatient woman. It wasn't like there were other tills that would have probably moved faster. There are near 20 (give or take) there. Why she couldn't just wait for a few minutes frustrates me .
Oh well. It’s over with now. And I have some shopping to put away still (Because things got mixed up and mum has told me there’s more to put away) then I have to do my lunch and then it’s bedtime (Regardless of how long Tom wants me to sta up and email him)
