It has been a really wonderful day for me. Absolutely nothing went wrong. No major temper tantrums, no fights, no unexpected bad news, even my daughter was good for most of the day. She's still cranky with teething, but overall she was great. I can say it is the best day I've had in at least a couple of weeks. So since it was such a great day I've had lots of nice thoughts for once. Woo-hoo:D

Since the day went so well I decided that I was going to take plenty of time just to please myself this evening. The fact that my husband fell asleep on the couch makes it that much easier. Now I don't have to watch a movie and spend couple time, not that that is a bad thing. I'm just glad to have time to do whatever I want, without having to stay up until the wee hours of the morning to do it. This is some time to indulge in my hobbies. I think the first thing that I'm going to do is work on digitizing some designs to sew with my embroidery machine. I have tons of great ideas, but no time to execute them. I am also going to spend some time sewing on a quilt I'm making for my daughter. I made a lizard one for my son to have when he started sleeping in a "big kid" bed, so now I'm working one for Victoria. I hope when she is old enough she will like purple and yellow. I may even go all out and pick up my notebook and make notes about the short story, Jump Awry, I've posted part of. I think I'm going to restart the whole thing and plan it carefully to be a series of short stories about Ara's adventures. I also need a better title. I really hate that one. If I can find the time this weekend I also want to sit and make a sketch of my conception for Ara and some of the other characters I wish to include. Often it is much easier for me to really see them if I have them drawn out.

Now I see I want to do much more than I am physically capable of tonight, but still I can pick and choose what I want. That is a nice feeling to have. I think that my story is going to win out. Sewing is great, but when I'm feeling this artistic it isn't too satisfying. So, if any of you get the chance check out the small segment of my story in the general writing section. Just let me know what you think, ideas you have, what you would like to read, or anything else you think will be helpful. Feedback is one of the major ways I work so please help out if you can and feel inclined to do it.
