I guess you can't have too much of a good thing. Like beautiful sunshine and a shimmering night. They'd mess each other up.

I thought that his was beautiful, but than I can be quite biased when it comes to references to the moon

I've read some of the other poems you've posted on here, and though I remember most of them as being quite good, none of them were as great and wonderfully written as this one! I think it's good. It has rhythym and rhyme (but it's not rhymie, you know), and it leaves one with something to think about.
