I solved the Rubik's Cube!!

Rate this Entry
I succeeded, only a few days ago, in solving the Rubik's Cube. I spent two days hibernating in my room, only coming out when it was absolutely necessary, fiddling with a cube.

I will say, it was a waste of two perfect sunshines, however it is my New Year's Resolution solved. I thought it would be more challenging than that; I figured it would take me more time and consume and ample amount of my year. It is a shame I finished it two days after I bought it.

Since then, I have successfully completed it many times. I suppose I should set another goal, however I'm already happy.

I told some of my friends, they don't seem to enthused over it. Until they can solve it, I remain as champion over them, even if it is only turning a block to various formulas.

I'm still on a mission to find a faster way of solving it, I know there is one. I solved it in four moderately simple steps. The instructions gave me seven.

I didn't follow the instructions. I tried to but I didn't like them. They abbreviated the entire ordeal into a series of letters, although I did like doing it on my own.

It was difficult, well, not very; a challenge nonetheless. I'm proud of myself, at least. Not bad for two days work.

Well you know I can not and never will solve the Rubiks cube. I don't have patients for little twisting block toys. But congrats my girl. Mwah.

I guess you are just too smart. What if you didn't solve it in two days? Would you have spent the rest of the year hibernating in your room fiddling with that stupid thing?

Congrats! I either don't have the brain power, the patience or the interest to do it. I admire your persistence and goal-setting AND your ability!

Impressive. I can't do it either.

I actually do think I understand this victory. Congratulations. I have a company version of a Rubik's cube on my bookcase I occasionally toy with but I lack the patience to solve it and have opted for liking something in the room that ISN'T organized.

Wow. I must have done something pretty awesome. Best praise yet.

Virgil, I'd have stuck it out. I'd have lived in my room for pretty much ever until I got it right, whether I liked it or not. A little nutty, idealistic though.

Thanks all you guys. You make me feel so accomplished.
