Wow a first for me

Rate this Entry
So wow, this is really a first for me. In all the time I spend online with school, shopping, and just plain messing around I have never started my own blog. I've never had time to do it, I guess, but hey I don't have the time now. So a bit about me, since it seems a little rude to just write without telling you anything about who I am...
I'm a stay at home mother to my two children who are 4 and 9 months. The fact that my son is four tends to make me feel like an old hag some days, but that it because I'm only 23, but most girls my age are worrying about the next party they are going to attend. At least where I'm living anyway. I'm the end product of a young marriage, which is strong by the way. I married three months after I turned 18 and we are joking about having beaten the statistic of divorce in 5 if we make it to our anniversary this August. It is great, though. I have two wonderful kids and a husband who has spent the last 5 years in the military so I can stay home, raise the kids, and get a BS in Buisness Admin with a marketing major. I'm 14 weeks from a degree, well if you take out the break and I couldn't be happier. Two kids, two dogs, and a 4 year degree isn't bad to show for 4 years of work.
I'm a workaholic to say the least. I spend my days running my children to one activity or another, or even just playing games. I do the housework and school work while they are napping, thank heavens for that small grace, and then I stay up late, like now to get in a little time to do whatever it is I want. I do a little of everything. I read, write, paint, cook, quilt, crochet, and just about anything else that catches my fancy. i'm currently making a baby blanket for my pregnant cousin, a quilt for my daughter, and a cook book to give to freinds and family of all the recipies I've made or created that we love. To say the least, life is busy and I can always find something to fill the time. It is much harder to find the time to fill with sleep than to find something to do during the day. Well I guess that is enough about me for tonight. If you can't already tell I have a tendency to move from subject to subject in my head with no stopping and it means that I will likely often say things that seen entirely nonsensical. Just remember, they at least make sense to me. Well, I'm off to bed, early :yawnb: it is only midnight here so great for me.

Congratulations for life well spent it seems. Being a military wife is NOT the easiest way to keep a marriage and you have much respect from me. Uncle Sam owns your husband and gives lip service (and some help) mostly. Sadly in this day and age 5 years for young newlyweds is record breaking. Welcome aboard.
