me, my son and my dogs went to meet my friend and her 3 dogs today. it was fun the dogs got a lot of exercise and played a lot. after about 30-40 minuets of play we decided to go home it was getting cold and I had been walking in so high snow my toes were freezing. her dogs jump in the car no problem my young one sisco did the same and jumped into my car, but spock on the other hand..... he is 8 years old and he started acting in a way I have never seen before. he didn't want to come didn't want candy ( he usually does ANYTHING for candy) nothing worked, we tried driving off to see if he would come but no he just jumped in front of the car and stood there. three cars almost hit him. me and my friend we tried anything and everything we could think of but no. then all of a sudden when we were gonna see if she would catch him if she started driving away with an open window he came running no problem and jumped into the car like nothing had happened. didn't understand why we were so cold and tired. very weird behaviour for my dog...

I'll be signing up for school again in a few days and will take 4 classes as usual, gonna take biology again and german, phycology and history, as long as they teach all these classes, might be some changes though but we'll see. the classes won't start 'till the end of january though.

right now I'm drinking my coffee and trying to warm up after the adventure of the day, then I need to start thinking about dinner. I like to plan a few days ahead so I don't need to think about it everyday, but I don't always do it....

my sister in law is gonna be 23 on the 11th of january and I have been wondering what to get her, wanted to buy a snow globe I can put a picture in but the store I knew had it is sold out so I need to look somewhere else, maybe I get another idea... I was gonna put a picture of her and her cat on one side and the cat on the other so I really want to find this... gonna check the internet...

You probably should consult your vet. A dog that won't taketreats almost surely has a medical problem.

That is strange, I would keep an eye on the dog and if it exihibits any more strange behavior consult a vet. There could have been something unnotiable to humans which spooked, also it could be starting to loose one of its senses sometimes that can happen when animals get older and can affect how they behave.

Are you sure it's not physically difficult for your dog to get in the car? 8 years for a large-breed dog is about the age where hip and other joint problems start to kick in. He might have just needed help getting in the car. Keep an eye on him. Any changes in appetite, bathroom habits, vomiting, diarrhea, or signs of lethargy mean it's time for him to see the doc. By 8 years, your buddy's a senior citizen and you'll need to keep a close eye on him. Hope he's feeling okay
