day in a life

it's 23:45 and so far it has been a rather bad evening. to start the evening off I burned my nut steak so it was not as good as it should have been, then when we were cleaning the dishes after dinner a pipe got a bit loose and the kitchen flooded with water. after cleaning it up my son got a stomach ache and did his number 2 in his good pants and I hate to clean him up and find other clothes for him and now I'm sitting in my living room cause my dogs go crazy if I go outside to check out the fireworks, not that I like those things people blow up so many it's crazy I don't think you would believe how much it is here. also I am so tired and I have to go to work at 8 in the morning and I just hope the fireworks will stop after midnight so I can sleep this is me being optimistic because people here are usually still blowing up at 3 am and for the next couple of nights too. also my in laws dog can't stop doing his thing on the floor and I just don't want dog pee or poo on my living room floor. I'm not big on the staying up past midnight thing I just want to go to bed with my book. luckily my in laws and the rest are going to visit their aunt after midnight and I'm gonna go to bed when they leave. my son was so tired when we were having desert at about 10 o'clock that he fell asleep next to his plate and is sleeping all through the loud banging of fireworks.

23:57 everybody is still outside watching the fireworks but I'd rather stay inside with the dogs. I don't think anybody would believe how much it is they blow up here, it's crazy!
