day in a life

...were is the snow? it sounds stupid living in Iceland and there is no snow during christmas. I love the winter and I love the snow. here on the (no) ice we celebrate christmas on the 24th and opened all our presents yesterday. my boy was going crazy over dinner asking when he can open his presents. we gave him a spiderman inline scooter and when he saw it he looked up and said FINALLY!!! he has been begging for it for months and was very happy. I got metamorphosis by ovid, I had been begging for it for months... hehe.. I also got a book made from a blog my friends brother had from the time he was diagnosed with cancer and for 3 years, or 'till he died. he died on his daughters 15 birthday very sad. can't wait to read it..

the dogs got big meaty disgusting bones from my friend and her dogs and it kept them busy all night.

I gave the dogs their christmas baths on the 23rd and my younger dog sisco loves it, I put a dog shampoo in their fur and rubbed it in and then combed him like usual, he takes a bath every now and then but I have never used shampoo before and now his hair is falling out a bit like it should do in spring and the fur just looks bad, don't know what happened, maybe the shampoo isn't good for him but it just looks bad and I can't comb through it.... don't know what to do about it.... I gave them a bit of mushroom sauce over their dinner yesterday and now sisco dosen't want his normal breakfast, spoiled brat....

my son gave us a picture frame he painted with his toe and hand print, very sweet.

the dogs got a lot of squeaky toys so it's gonna be a loud christmas
