My Baby Came Home!

OMG I am so excited I cannot believe it
As I have made mention of before, all of my cats are feral cats, and my cat Demeter was part of a litter that was born in my garage and that I ended up raising by hand because the mother was malnourished, and really too young to have had a litter, and I was worried about her health and her kittens because though I left food out for them as a feral she wouldn't really get proper care.
There was a total of four kittens in the litter that I hand fed on formula and when they were all of age I got them fixed so the problem would not continue to spread and I was able to catch the mother and suspected father a big black tom that was always hanging around and got them both fixed as well.
And two of the kittens were really more wild and rambunctious and took off to do their own thing and the other two Demeter and the runt of the litter a tiny little cat, that never really grew very big who I called Gypsy Rose, decided to stick around.
Demeter was always very lovable and friendly and wanting attention but Gypsy tended to be more shy. At times you would not see her for days, or she would only come around to be fed. Now and than she would let you close enough to pet her and she did love to play chase with string.
Than the people who lived across the street from us moved out and left their cat behind and so the cat started to hang around here and moved in because there was food for him here but Gypsy didn't like the strange cat hanging around and eventually took off.
It has been about 2 or 3 years since she has been gone.
Today I was out cleaning the rabbits and I happened to catch sight of a black cat under one of the rabbit huts. At first I just thought it was Demeter but than I got a closer look and knew it wasn't Demeter who is a big ol fluff ball and suddenly I was like wait, that cat looks familiar. I knew it wasn't one of the strays that I see from time to time.
But at first I was like no, it couldn't be.
I kneeled down to try and get a closer look but didn't want to scare the cat off when all of the sudden was like OMG, I can't believe it really is Gypsy.
And I could tell that she recognized me, though she was being shy as usual, she wasn't too skittish. If I tried to get too close she would back away, but than come back a few seconds later and at one point she looked up at me and meowed. So I put out some fresh food for her.
I do not know where she has been all this time, but she was looking pretty good. She had good weight upon her, for her small size, and her coat had a nice healthy shine to it.
I hope she sticks around!
