Now that's disgruntling. The only way people know if one is following the discussion is if you post and don't keep your mouth shut. So...let them voice their opinion and don't give a hang what they say about yours. It's yours and no one else's! . Praying for you. -Andya.

We all get disgruntled in posts sometimes kathy. its those slaps that get threads going and keep people glued to the topics! I'm sure that if you did objects someones opinion, that it was an accident and that they would truely understand. Some of the topics can get very heated debate wise, and sometimes its very hard to stop oneself from flipping the lid.
But if you are certain that you need some air, remember that we will all be here waiting for you to get back! so get back soon! (or else i'll have to start insulting myself in PAM, and i dont think that will be very fun! ) La Gra Kathy ma chara.

It just seems that I try hard to be friendly and courteous, and that gets tossed out the window because I substituted one word for another, thus changing (however subtly) the meaning of something that got stated. I understand about that, I get annoyed when people do this to me, and I understand we all make mistakes...........................excuse the dots, since there is no way to make seperate paragraphs........................................ ............... It just seems like I got a big slap of guilt trip right in the face. I am not a great person, but I don't think I deserve that. I didn't want to take this to my blog but have no other recourse to vent about what happened. I wanted to edit my post, but no chance to do that now. I know I am being vague here, but don't even feel that I have the right to even comment directly on the very thing that is upsetting me so much. ............................................Thanks for your comments.

Last I knew freedom of speech is still around plus opinions too. May I present the fact that the good friends try to understand and the shallow (which would certainly not be me ) will just look for trouble--probably out of boredom. Much love on this end. Always yours Rich.

Kathy, cheer up. Sometimes we take things too seriously when we should only take a deep breath and plod on. I know it is difficult sometimes, especially when our feelings are hurt, but what can ya do? Don't worry, one post should not be a splinter in your side -- we are all with you.

Kathy, I am not mad at you. I actually was not planning on defending myself from the verbal barrage I was receiving by everyone for my opinion. But, if I'm going to be beaten-up, I'd rather be beaten-up for what I said and not what I didn't say. That's the only reason I posted the correction, and I had already decided to go into my hole before I posted, I simply announced it there.
In the end, everyone sided with you. Besides, I'm really irrelevant... - C

I wanted to say all this when I went back the other day to edit my post but didn't get a chance to:.......... Ok, Countess, first I understand that I should have quoted directly instead of referring. I said I made a mistake. Verbal barrage? People disagree with lots of stuff I say, so I am sorry I don't understand that. I certainly NEVER belittled your opinion, or was abusive to you about it. I pointed out MY opinion that I think there are a lot of biases to consider with statements like the one you made. Regardless of my use of "most" instead of "general". I have biases, and in fact if you can show me someone who claims to have NO biases whatsoever, I will either see a liar or a saint come down from Heaven. Humans have biases...it is part of being human. The best thing we can do is examine ourselves and consider what biases we have. I don't think by saying that I am being horribly offensive. I don't consider disagreement to be belittlement. Nobody suggested you should go away and not speak, if they did they should be reported because that would be extraordinarily offensive. People disagreeing with you should not be taken as a request for you to shutup. I am sorry your supervisor was such a SOB, because his conduct was inexcusable. I think you are an intelligent person...and much like myself, prone to being oversensitive. That is NOT a slam against you! As for not seeming mad at me, well, you posted in your reply to me a desire to cancel all your online subscriptions which left me with a distinct impression that it would be (at least in part) my fault that you would do so. That is what I got upset about...because I think I am fairly nice and I don't think such a thing should be implied to be my fault. As for people "siding" with me, I don't think anybody is taking sides here. I am not suggesting that anybody take sides. I hate fighting with people, I hate getting upset and having people be upset with me.
