Ahh well back to the grind. What a short stay it was. I'm back up on the slope and find myself with another day and nothing to do. I really must apologise for not posting an entry in such a long time.
Days off were just ok. I went to watch the Milwaukee Brewers play the Chicago Cubs in Milwaukee. It would have been a lot more fun if the Brewers won, and there were just so many Cubs fans there it was like a home game for them. My favorite play of the game was when four players for the Cubs went after an infield fly and it landed about 10 feet away from all of them.
Then I went on an evening boat cruise in Madison, WI to celebrate a family friends graduation. It was a lot of fun, although I felt like a young mtpspur when I was stuck babysitting the grad's girlfriend. She didn't know anyone, and drank to inspire courage I guess. Did get to see an excellent jazz quartet bass, two guitars and a clarinet, otherwise it was just fun to be there with family and friends.
Had an eye opener dream the other day. It was just a continuation of this bizarre dream sequence...which may become some of my next entries over the following weeks. Ok, good to see everyone, gotta get back to the book 'Mystic River' by Dennis Lehane which was a wonderful movie and the book is even better. Ciao
