SATIE, ETC.

I'm listening to Satie (and they call me "MAD!!!"), and find myself within an eternal web of confusion due to his music. After the dissonant chords of his middle register in TROIS GYMNOPEDIES (that's music's autumnal sound) I usually slip/slide off the seventh chord, G major/E minor shift of his GNOSSIENNES #5... and wind-up nowhere. (But that's music shop-talk for the strangely employed.) I highly recommend the Satie Sound to anyone who's looking for some background (and even occasional foreground) music in their pc lives. He, himself, would encourage people to talk, drink, eat, (in short, go on with what they were doing) instead of listening attentively to him perform.
Everything seems to be looking up, if only because I'm down on the floor looking up at it all. I'm trying to keep three blogs going at the same time (along with real work in the real world), and letting my creative juices flow...without Viagra (Jessica Alba would be a "help", but I may be too old for that kind of excitement). My wife Stefanie keeps me entertained more than I deserve and is always available with still more technical advice and inspiration; BUT she's entirely INNOCENT of anything appearing here!!!
In my madness WITHOUT method, I plan to keep everyone entertained (?!?) with further sketches (reputedly true) of my life growing up in Brooklyn and/or of things related to New York City (along with the infrequently frequent allusions to music and related gibberish). I truly appreciate whatever interest you have in my Blog, and am grateful for the comments and visits that I've received. (The first blog I had, the Last Blog On The Left Of The Internet, was so desolate and abandoned that even I didn't bother to visit there and is now defunct.) Regards to All.![]()
