I don't want to work on school
but rather listen:

Crusty men writing
of ponds and trees and men who
ebb and eddy with

The sands of time, the
noise and clangor of Progress,
but no deep silent hush.

Be still and know God.
Be still and know I am God.
I am waiting, Child!

Words, tears, the music
of walking with God in the
fullness of His Love

Combined with papers,
reading, queer thinking, TIME
piles in on me and

I am overwhelmed.
I am changed from the
Selfish introvert

That I once was. Now
I better understand Time
And know that I am

Truly a Child. And,
From the word-hoards in my mind:
Love, Joy, Hope, Grace, Strength.
