Psychic Moment

A while back I posted about my winning a free book through the giveaways that are hosted on Goodreads, in which publishers and authors can submit a limited amount of copies if pre-release books to be given away in the hope of generating early feedback and stimulating word of mouth promotion and so forth.
When I first signed up for the giveaways I figured there was probably slim to no chances of actually winning but I still figured it would be fun and worth a try, so when I won on like one of the first books I signed up for I was totally excited and could hardly believe it.
But then after having such an unexpected win I was quite disappointed with the sires of losses that followed after and began to think that my winning the first time was just some total random fluke of luck.
The way it works is there are a list of books and you go through and select whichever ones you want to try for, and you can sign up to win as many books as you want, so I would always periodically check the list for new books, and there was this one book that for some completely random, illogical reason, based purely on some instinct or intuition or whatever you want to call it, I felt certain, that if I was going to win again, it would be that particular book that I would win. Though I really had no reason to think this, it was just some random persistent thought that popped up in my head.
Last night I was getting ready to go to bed, and right before I was about to sign off I got an e-mail and so I went to check my e-mail and it was a note from goodreads tell me I won one of their giveaways, so when I opened up the e-mail, low and behold it was none other than that book that I always had the impression I was destined to win. So after that I was doubly exited, I was excited just at having one a free new book, but than I was exited that my prediction actually came true.
I somehow knew I was going to win that book
