Passionflower

Right around the edges,
Moonglow
Softens
The effect of
Radiating colours,
A painter by afternoon
And by night,
Who captured the
Sultriness of
The daylight,Giving notice to the seasons
That there is no such thing as change,
Only intensity of succession
Of one day
After another.
Iridescence shines
Off the garden stones
And shimmers the green leaves
Of the pre-blossoming
Rakish foliage --
One reminiscent bloom
Between sporadic
flourishes of colour
Splashes highlights Into the incoming dusk
In a fertile imagination
