Halls of the Dark Muse

I went up to the store to get some Chinese food and when we got into the parking lot, I went to roll up the window and there came a sudden loud cracking noise. I was like what the hell was that? I looked over and the window looked fine and I thought maybe we ran over a bottle or something, or something hit the roof of the car. But then when I went to continue to put the window up again nothing happened and there was the sound of like grating glass, so something in window must have broke within the door.

And of course when the window wouldn't go up all the way again, it started to rain (though it was only a little drizzle) but at the time there was nothing to be done about it.

Than I go in to get my food and it was just at Safeway, and there is like one counter that is deli type sandwiches, and on the other side is Chinese food and some other stuff, and usually you just walk up and order what you want, but I noticed there was a line formed on the Deli side, and there was no signs or anything so I couldn't tell if just everyone was supposed to stand in line or if it was just for the deli part. So at first I am just standing there and go to walk up front, and only the people in the line are being served, and when the lady calls for the next person, it is like I am invisible, so I think.....ok maybe everyone just has to stand in line.

So I go to get in the line, but I notice it seems that everyone is only getting the sandwiches, but I figure I will just stay there, but than two or three people just walk up (not from the line) to order Chinese food, so I said, oh, I guess the line is only for the deli, so I go up, and now have to wait for these other people.

Than when the guy just in front of me goes up the price scanner suddenly stops working so I think oh great....but she finally figured out the problem and so it was my turn. Well I get the comb 3, which is fried rice, chow mien, and 2 entrees and so for my first entree I ordered Hot and Spicy chicken, but I am pretty sure she gave me Mandarin chicken instead, unless the hot and spicy chicken was in the wrong place, I didn't say anything because it was not that big of a deal because I like the Mandarin chicken but that is what I was going to get for my 2nd choice, and since I did not want to confuse her, or get it twice, I just had to pick something else.

Than she asked me if I wanted to get a meal deal which will include an egg roll and a free drink, so I said alright, and I get home, and they forgot to put the egg role in my bag, and it was not worth going back for.

Blah....so that is how things are going so far.
