U.F.I. (Unidentified Flying Insect)

Though I do not have any insect phobias per sea, there are so many different types of insects that to say the least I am not that familiar with all of them, so when with comes to insects unlike other species of animals, I never really know what may or may not want to bite me and I am not as familiar with insect behavior, so they are fascinating to watch, but if it is a species of which I am not readily familiar they can sort of weird me out, just because I have no idea what to expect from it.

I happened to noticed this really strange looking insect crawling around upon the door frame, and it was quite large so I was watching it, trying to figure out what the heck it was. Though it looked like something I have seen before I could not name it. And while I was watching it, I thought it looked like it could either be an Assassin bug, aggressive predatory poisonous insects, that while are not deadly to people can be quite painful, and will bite humans. Or it was some kind of leaf-bug, perfectly harmless vegetarian insects.

Because they have a similar shape and body size, and both come in varying different colors. Part of me was thinking I should just grab a cup to put over the top of it so I could than take it outside and let it go, but I remained watching it fixated and trying to figure out what the heck it was. When suddenly it took off flying and because I was standing in front of it, it came straight at me so I just turned around and fled the room, because for some unknown reason, bugs love to chase me.

And now I don't want to go back in the living room, because it is in there somewhere, and I still don't know yet, if is a docile plant eating insect of it wants to attack me.

LOL, probably because you were running, Dark Muse, although, honestly, I would have, too, if I were in your shoes.

I remember a long time ago lying in bed one morning, and I could hear a something crawling in my bedroom. I asked my husband (I was married at the time)if he could hear it, but he said no. "There it is again," I said. So he reluctantly got up to look, and there was a bug, he said he'd never seen one like it. And he had to kill it. Fortunately, I never had to see it. Although, on the whole, I do, like you, find them interesting.
