A Mirror Floating in Water

Recovered

Well today I finally found one of my long lost 2 GB drives on which I would back-up some of my files. Thankfully I had quite a bit on there, including a ninety-page autobiographical poem, the beginings of a novel, an incomplete essay on the philosophy of language as well as some other stuff, all of which I thought had gone down with the ship when my computer crashed. Sadly, my magnus opus of film criticism (if you will ), a thirty page essay analyizing the paradoxically compassionate portrayal of Jake LaMotta in Scorsese's Raging Bull was not on there and is forever lost which makes me really sad, because it was such a good essay and I had worked very hard on it and because it enlightened somewhat of a new percpective on Scorsese's masterpiece. Oh well, I'll probably rewrite it someday *long deep sigh*

Well I'm glad to hear you recovered at least some of your work Daniel.

That's great Daniel. You wrote a 90 page autobiographical poem? And you're not even 20 years old yet? How much biography do you have?

It's a relief that you were able to retrieve at least some of your material.

I see that you're from Green Bay. I've been meaning to ask someone from GB this question: Favre, your feelings? Do you wish he had returned to the Packers or are you just as glad he went with the
Vikings? Of course, that Brett, he's such a "retiring" soul.

Well here in Green Bay, some vehmently hate Farve with a passion and forget everything he had ever done for them. As for me, I'm always a Farve fan, I don't care what jersy he's wearing, he's brilliant. Besides, Aaron Rodgers just isn't that good, you know how many times he's been sacked this season?!
