What to say?

I feel like I have nothing I want to blog about. I am just so worked up about a few things that I see and I feel...not quite disgruntled but...well to paraphrase P. G. Wodehouse...if not exactly disgruntled, than far from being gruntled. Good ol' Pelham Grenville. I feel far from feeling gruntled.

the actual Wodehouse quote is this:
While not exactly disgruntled, he was far from feeling gruntled.
What handle to lay on a kid, huh? Grenville? "Oh dear, look at our newborn little angel, let's call him Pelham Grenville". Ah, but who am I to judge? Nowadays people call their children "Apple" and "Moxie Crimefighter". Yes, really. Penn Gillette named his daughter Moxie Crimefighter and Gwyneth Paltrow named her's Apple. Hey, don't look at me that way....every once in a while I watch shows on VH1. I never said I was perfect.

Ah well. I'll probably end up joining the ranks of odd-naming-parents. If I ever get married and have a daughter I want to call her Melian.

I always liked the name Damian - even if he was the spawn of Satan in some movie. And I also like Julian and Sidney, though they sound like two gay guys from London. (-:

Sorry you're not gruntled. I've been hating humanity lately myself so...you're not alone in the boat.

I've often pictured naming my first born son (assuming I ever have one) William. It's kind of a bit of a family name on my Dad's side. Call me old fashioned but I figure seeing as people come out with really crazy names these days then it'd be nice to have some average ones too.

I've always wanted to call a son Tadhg (Tie-g). And i also wanted to call a son William. So i can call him Will for short. Girls name... i love Aodhamir (I've spelt it wrong but its pronounced Ae-a-mir.) or i'd name her after my mam and grandma, Annastatia.

There is a difference ( at least to me) between unusual names and silly ones. The names you all mention seem fine, "Apple" just seems a good name for a fruit. .... Niamh, I've always loved Irish names my self too. (well, duh! )

    >"Apple" just seems a good name for a fruit.> LMAO. Kinda like naming your child "banana", huh? Poor kid. I see future school teasing...
