Death from biology

Rate this Entry
the only subject I don't like... BIOLOGY... I think I'm gonna die trying to work this classification out. I finished my history project and my sociology project and have gotten new ones I need to finish in a few days but first I have to finish this biology thing I hate. My friend who can help me out is working so I need to try and figure this out on my own, maybe I'll call her tonight and see if she can help a bit. I love school no doubt about that, but these past few days I only seem to work and study in every free minuet I have. I have to have eating in my schedule so I won't forget.

I did find the time to go to a book market today. I could have bought a dozen books, only bought 2 though. I hate it when these markets are at this time a month, I don't have the money to spend as I wish now, maybe the market will be for a week more, and good books left. I bought the collection of Beckett's work, poems, stories and plays and also a book about ancient literature by an Icelandic author. also bought 2 books for my boy and one christmas present. I'm trying to buy present over a few months so I don't have to buy everything in in December.

it started to snow a bit today, but it rained after that so it didn't stay, I love how dark it is when it's raining.

well back to biology... if I live I'll check in tomorrow.

    A "biological" death, eh?

There seems to be always one subject that does not click with all of us.

Even though my Maths was very good, I always struggled with Physics. Seemingly could not grasp why Snoopy had to travel in a boat when it was so windy or the trains had to travel so slowly!

    Good luck with it all!

I enjoy reading your blog entries very much.

Oh I loved biology, but I think that's because my teacher was crazy! He had 4 kneecaps and sang songs in class. He had my number. He told me I was going to get a 'D' so I worked my socks off and got an 'A'. Can still remember everything I learned about the digestive system even now (and it's a long time ago).
It's a good idea, buying christmas presents over a period of time. I'm going to start now too. Books as presents are the best, or at least I think so anyway

Just be thankful that it's not physics...

Hey if you need a hand, feel free to ask! I'm a bio student so I'm more than happy to help if I can

Good luck with biology. I passed, but it's not something I'm interested in.

It must be difficult juggling work, school and parenthood! I hope it all works out and you don't get too overworked! Be sure to take care of yourself.

Oh, I feel your pain! I made a 72% in biology and it too so much effort. My next lowest grade is an 89% (88.9 but they rounded up) The two other girls that I did my labs with made 42 and 45. That helps me feel better about my C. That biology nearly killed me, too. My oldest is in AP biology this year and I'm NO HELP AT ALL to her.

Injured. Weeping. Love biology! If you don't like it, here is a great book for you to read. I'm nearly 100 pages into it right now and it is fantastic! It's called Another Day in the Frontal Lobe. It is a great way to get normal human beings to like biology and is written by a hilarious neurosurgeon. Have any questions for class? Ask me! If I don't know, my mom is a five year nurse and she definitely will! Good luck!
