Homemade Dog Food Dumplings

I've always wanted to try to make homemade dog biscuits for my poochie so I searched the web this morning and found some recipes. While I was looking I found this recipe for dog food dumplings. It sounded real easy to make and I had all the ingredients so I decided lets give it a shot.

As I was preparing everything of course my dog was lying at my feet hoping I would drop something

I guess it was good since my dog already had 2 dumplings but then again it is very rare that my dog will turn her nose up at any food that comes her way

The big test will be my aunts dog since she is a picky eater.

If you have a dog and want to try this recipe, I posted it under social groups Pet Appreciation.

If anyone tries it let me know how their dog liked it.

    Your dog is a very lucky dog. When I had dogs, I loved them, but I cannot imagine spending anytime actually concocting something for them.

    I like how, when your eating, dogs come over and look hopeful. I find it amusing. I wish I could look like that and someone would make dumplings for me!!!

    :D And I thought that my two dogs were spoiled:lol: My two get a special food to help with allergies as well as Christmas presents, but I don't nomally cook for them. It makes my bigger one ill, and I would rather not have the mess:sick:

    Lol. Yay puss! I'm not the only one who cooks for my animals. but I don't normaly cook them pet food, normaly eggs and stuff. Will deffinitly try the dumplins

    There's an amazing booth at my local farmer's market that sells home made dog food/treats/biscuits. She makes a killing, too. Maybe a new career path...?

    Dogs are omnivores, cats are obligate carnivores. Cat food contains more protein than dog food, which is probably why your dogs like it better.     Daividh, the dumplings were made from her dog food.
