Living in Iceland these days is like being on the edge of a cliff not sure if your safe or if you'll fall.so many people have moved to other countries mainly Canada and Norway, there hasn't bin this many people leavings since 1800 when almost half the nation left to Canada. things just get more expensive taxes get higher and politics get more complicated than ever. people loosing their jobs or their hours cut down, like mine was, mortgages skyrocketing. This is to depressing to think of so on to happier things

school is starting this week and I can't wait, bought all my books and have started checking them out...

life is so complicated these days, I don't know what to say about it...

I have been writing and reading a lot, checking out Moral disorder by Atwood and some stories suck and others are good, can't form an opinion on her...

Good luck with your upcoming school. I like to think life has a way of working itself out, but it is often so much more difficult than one would like. Complicated is such a good term for it, and I can feel you on it. Things will settle eventually, they always do and then they get crazy again. Take Care, Meg

Other Margaret Atwood books are far better. I would never start with that one. The Robber Bride, Cat's Eye, and Oryx and Crake are all excellent (in my humble opinion, of course...)

Some of us live on the same cliff just in different parts of the world. The unemployment in this state is the second highest in the country, taxes are going through the roof, and more and more people are moving to this ocean area driving up the cost of housing. Thank someone there are all the great works in world to read and that we have the ability to escape it through our own dedication to this craft.
