I had quite the interesting experience last night. I was getting ready to go to sleep, and was just closing my eyes, to enter into that limbo state between waking and sleeping when I heard a faint but distinct whisper just in my ear. Though I could not make out the actual words, it was distinct enough that I could tell it was a females voice, and to make me suddenly jerk my eyes open, and look around me within my room.

Of course seeing nothing, but then just as I was getting ready to settle back down again, outside of my bedroom window just over the roof of my neighbors shed (of which I can see the peek of from my window) I saw a sudden flash of a whit orb-like light, and it was fairly good sized, I would just it to be roughly the size of a volleyball, and than it was gone in an instant, just disappeared as suddenly as it had come.

    Ohh, interesting indeed. I've had similar experiences years back, in an old apartment, where I would not only see sudden flashes of white or black orbs out of the corner of my eye, but also hear whispers. The voice was of an old woman.

    LOL well I tend to "attract" things you might say. I think they are drawn to me becasue I am open and receptive.

    Oh...Are you a psychic? Or are you a psychic and living in a home where certain spirits dwells?

    I do not personally consider myself "psychic" but as a Pagan, the supernatual often plays closely to my spiritual beleifs, and I suppose you can say my energy is open and attuned to such things. Some refer to it as being a "sensitive" one who as a way of sensing and sometimes drawing sprits.

    I beleive spirits do know those that are more likely to be made aware of them and are drawn to that.

    I've had similar experiences. Quite a few years ago I used to try to 'astrally project' in those odd limbo moments, as you say, between sleep & waking. I practised this a while, then one night I heard a female voice in my left ear whisper forcibly 'Wait!'.


    Weird eh?

    I've heard female voices whisper in my ear too.

    Mind you, there was always a female there that whispered.

    LOL, yeah...it's scary if you are lying on the sofa & there is no one else in the house though.

    Hey that happens to me e3very night, a woman's voice in my ear. Unfortunately it's my wife telling me to move over because I'm hogging the bed again.
