Grudingly Going to the Bookstore

I went to Barnes & Nobel today, which usually I don't like to do, becasue it is too expensive for me, but I wanted to get a copy of A Condederacy of Dunces for the Septemeber group read and it would have been too much of a crap shoot to try and track down in one of my usual second-hand book sales and used book stores.
And while I was there I figured I might as well look for a copy of Emma because for some reason, I couldn't find it anywhere, which quite surprised me, I thought it would be rather an easy book to come across but all the usual stores I get my classics from did not have it, and I even checked in like three different used book stores while I was on vacation, so I decided I might as well just look for it while I was at the book store, and I was happy to discover they did indeed have it, and it was so exciting because they had a rather nice, brand new copy of for $4.95 which is more than I usually pay for books, but it was exceptionally cheap for B&N at first I thought I must be hallucinating. I had really been quite expecting to pay like $20 bucks for it.
In addition I also picked up a copy of Possession by A.S. Byatt because I have been wanting to read it, but haven't seen it around anywhere.
