the desert sea
just before I realize
the death of me
so close your eyes
and go to sleep
what is left in this life?

Can't you see
our fallen harmony
just one last breath
to take me away
don't try to follow me
through the desert wind.

I've been beaten back
to the edge
just let me go
to my end
and in dreaming you'll see
shaman eyes watching
out for you.

Trust in me and
do not wake
we'll wander through
the golden sand
on a quest
to free our souls.

One last drop
before I go
where I must stand
in truth alone
you must never wake
from this vision.

The moment you realize
all was wrong
and loose your faith
in this illusion
I will disappear into the sun.

and walk with me
in your soul
across the desert snow.
