Halls of the Dark Muse

Today is my last day before I take off on vacation. So today was spent mostly getting ready to go. I am all packed up but for a couple books that I am still going to be reading before leaving.

I had to take my lizard in today to be boarded, because lizards are high maintenance and require special care, so you need someone who knows reptiles to look after them, I have someone else to come over just to feed the cats and rabbits, and snakes only eat about once a week anyway, so I got her a couple of mice when I took the lizard in.

In addition to taking all the books I am going to be reading, I am also taking several of my notebooks, including my sketch book, though I don't know if I will get anything done or have an opportunity to do so.

My niece the older one, who I call The Antichrist, because she is very intelligent for her age, which I think is half the problem, because she is too smart for her own good, and so she is quite the hellraiser, and she is also one of those that likes to push the limits, she will deliberately do things she knows full well she is not suppose to do just to see how far she can go, and well today she has been acting up almost all day, and she is always trying to beat up on her sister.

So it is going to be an interesting trip, because this is my older nieces 2nd or 3rd time going, but it will be the first time with her sister. And all the seating arrangements of who is riding with who has not yet been decided since with the two kids and car seats we have to take two cars.

On the other note the sink in my bathroom has been fixed, it was fixed this morning, so that has now been resolved.

So I think that is about all for now. Though tonight I will probably still be drifting in and out, this will likely be my last blog entry until my return.
