It's finally here. I'm leaving for PHC TOMORROW!! My flight is at 5:40 A.M., which means we have to leave the house around 3. I'm all packed, except for a bit of shuffling, and my parents have loaded me with food and snacks because of course I'm going to starve in 18 hours. My goodbyes have been said to my church family and my extended family...

I'm a college frosh!

    Oh my. Good luck Andy. I wish you the best. Don't be nervous, you'll be great. I'm sure the first week will be chaotic. I assume you will have internet access. Please drop me a note when you can. I would love to hear from you.

    Wooo hooo, now I don't know how they do it in the US, but here we have freshers fairs where they give away a lot of freebies and its different everyday. Go as many as you can! if you are in a college town and you can get into as many as you can ( I managed to get £300 worth of food vouchers- ok mostly dominos still when I was skint there was always pizza- and loads of tinned food. )
    Stay away from wierdos! Dont stress yourself out.
    Oh and if your flat mates get very drunk and/or high and start banging on your door and screaming in the middle of the night the best thing to do is roll over and go back to sleep.
    And then get up very early the next morning and potter around singng and doing very noisy things, if you are feeling mean!
