Oh hi!
I've just got home from my friend's birthday drinks. The people that I went with wanted to come home early, so I came home early too. It's probably a good thing for two reasons:
1. I have to go to the farm early tomorrow morning to pick up the rest of my stuff (for some reason I wrote 'myself' instead of 'my stuff', I don't know what i left of myself on the farm, but whatever it was, it can stay there).
2. I've had a bit to drink and I'm kind of a bit blurry now... Any more and it would have got messy. Damn that homemade limoncello, why didn't I believe them when they said it would hit me soon enough???
So I'm not really sure what I came to write about...
I got offered two months work in admissions at the uni I've been doing temp work at. That's pretty good, considering I'd only done two days a week over three weeks temp work (on reception). I need to remember that when I talk to the director of the centre that I shouldn't burst out with laughter and say things like "Yeah apparently!! I'm going to try!" When he says to me "So, I hear you're going in to admissions are you?"Silly Carly.
It was nice seeing my friend tonight, I haven't seen him in ages. As I was leaving, he gave me a huge hug and said "I miss you the most"
I have to start a journal soon, for my creative writing course. It shouldn't be too hard, I keep a journal of sorts anyway. I'll just have to leave out a lot of my usual writing or my whole journal will be about a ceratin someone that I seem to write a LOT aboutThe other units I'm doing this semester are a intro to philsosphy and a core unit called Ideas in Action. It all seems rather interesting, so I'm really looking forward to it. The only down side is that pretty much all of my assignments for each unit are due on the same date. I'll just have to be organised.
Anyway, enough drunken waffling
A good indication of me tonight:
