day in a life

well Snati OK for now. that is my friends dog, some kids were playing with him and took him right next to the highway but the car that hit him slowed down so it could have been worse. he has seven broken ribs and some internal bleeding he is with the best doctor here and he will probably have surgery next week, but it is a surgery that has never been done in Iceland so I don't know... Like I said he is a border collie and extremely active. but they do take him out for runs a lot and with a bike, also a man they know has a lot of sheep so regularly he visits him and do what comes naturally to him, herd. I don't know what will happen to him until next week when we know about the surgery. but he is a strong dog. He is the only dog Spock is willing to play with. but the saddest part is that just over a year ago my friend and her family had to put down their other dog, he was 13 years old and very sick, but it was so sad. my dog Spock is his son so they are very connected to my dog.

I just spent the day with my boy in the Icelandic zoo. it's not like other zoo's it has cows and pigs and turkeys and all sorts of farm animals. I love pigs and cows, I so want to have one or two in my yard, maybe later in life but they really are a favourite.
