Yep! I went book shoping again. The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test ~ Tom Wolfe The King Must Die ~ Mary Renault The Fall ~ Camus Eva Luna ~ Isabel Allende The Lost Girl ~ D.H. Lawrence Farewell to Arms ~ Ernest Hemingway
People are still reading Wolfe!!??? Suddenly nostalgic for the 1960s. If you ever find a copy of Dr Strange comics 180 (circa 1969) you'll find Wolfe being greeted by the Master of the Mystic Arts.
I haven't actually read him yet myself, but I have a couple of his works, they are on one of my many book lists I help use as a reference.
I've never read The Lost Girl. Let me know what you think.
I never even heard of it until I saw it, I will be sure to do so.
Love to hear about Hemingway, if you are interested in a reading partner, let me know. I've wanted to read Farewell to Arms, just haven't gotten around to it.
I will keep that in mind, and I will get in touch with you, when I am preparing to read that one.
ok, I won't be picking it up any time soon.
Haha well you don't have to wait on me you know
