Halls of the Dark Muse

For some unknown reason my bathroom is the Mecca for renegade crickets, whenever a cricket happens to make a gateway without fail within a day or two they will turn up in the bathroom.

First of all it is quite the wonder who they manage to get there unscathed and undetected being that to get to the bathroom from where the lizard is, they have to make their way through the dinning room and then a brief way down the hall.

Second of all, I do not know just what it is that seems to always draw them there, unless they can smell, or otherwise sense the water and that is what draws them.

I was getting ready to take my shower tonight, when what do I happen to see hoping around, but my escapee from earlier today. Well by this point I was already undressed for the shower and did not feel like dealing with it at that moment so I just put a cup over him to take care of when I finished. So needless to say he has been returned back with the lizard once again.
