Cool Summer Reading

There have been discussions and threads on here before about reading books that are "seasonally appropriate" or being influenced and inspired by the seasons in choosing certain books or authors though I myself have never really took the seasons into account in my reading choices, often I choose what I am going to read next based upon the whim of the moment, or sometimes based upon how long I have had a book on the back burner.
So recently for a variety of reasons I have started reading The Bounty Trilogy, for one, a certain Litneter whom now seems to have gone MIA has been waiting for me to read this book since he recommended it, and obviously I have wanted to read the book, and I figured during the summer I would have more time to get on to it.
Well while reading the book it is the perfect book to be reading during the summertime. For one because it is all about being out upon the water, and there are tropical islands, and I think now, or they were previously in the month of June within the book.
It is also the perfect book I found to read sitting by the pool after having just been swimming, because right now they are all living on this tropical island, and hanging around the water in loincloths, going swimming or "bathing" as they call it.
So it is a good book to try and stay cool with and it does make for rather nice summer reading. I was debating taking this one to Tahoe with me, since there are already like 4 other books I was already planning to take, but I think this would be a good book to read out on the lake and I am also really enjoying it as well.
